Review on Wi-Fi router netis WF2780, black by Agata Olszewska ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I did not find the advantages of the product, I do not recommend it.

On January 8, I purchased this router to replace an ASUS RT-N66U that frequently lost its connection to a 5GHz channel. Not only the 5GHz channel but everything else on the router experiences a drop in signal strength. After he rebooted five times in a single day, I made the decision to post a review. The remainder of the router functions well. (after 22 days): The following items were connected to the router at the time that the review was being written: 2 personal computers directly, 4 smartphones and 1 laptop through the use of Wi-Fi. In order to restrict the distribution of data across the 5GHz Wi-Fi channel, I reconnected the Asus router and Netis to the latter. Twenty days' worth of uptime have already gone in this mode. It would appear that he was unable to handle the burdens that were given to him. One of the laptops is already functioning normally. We arrive at a conclusion. (0620222022): During the past few weeks, there have been issues with ping when playing games. At first, I couldn't figure out why it was happening; then, I noticed that the ping starts jumping with an open stream in the background; then, I discovered that almost any download from the Internet channel of the router causes ping jumps (well, 10Mbps and above, which is very little, the tariff for 100Mbps). Initially, I couldn't figure out why it was happening. In the past few days, I have already made the decision to thoroughly deal with the problem. I have already reinstalled all of the drivers on the laptop and on the routers, reset the settings to the factory settings, reconnected the wires, pinged from the command line on the laptop and pinged from the admin panel of the routers, and I have finally found out what was causing the issue. This router is no longer able to fulfill its responsibilities; to put it succinctly, it would appear that its life cycle has come to an end. When connecting to the WiFi of the main asusovsky, even though it is a 2.4GHz channel, everything works perfectly and there are no issues for a significant amount of time. In addition, flying is possible with the 5GHz channel of the Asus router; however, despite this, the connection is unstable and frequently drops out. In general, there is no desire to contact the SC, I will take another router for a 5GHz channel, I believe that I will never return to Netis products, and I would not advise anyone, rather problematic products. I will take another router for a 5GHz channel.
