Strong suction power and pleasant light. Ideal for animal hair. I can't say anything about the battery yet. It came loaded, by the way, if you're interested for some reason. Comes with a nice little pouch for the dust bag and tools included, but I suspect most people (myself included) won't want to fiddle with the little pouch every time you want to use it. I keep mine on a charger, which is a legal plug, no USB involved. However, remember that the charging port is at the bottom of the dust box and there is no bracket or anything, so it can be easily hung anywhere. The end is pretty tight though so I just hold my suction side in a coffee cup and it worked fine. General Advice: Be careful when buying when looking at other non-big brands as the first two I tried had a horribly cheap power button setup instead of a regular slide switch like this. These push-and-release buttons always fail relatively quickly.
