I bought this device because it was marketed as a good protection against EMI. I don't have the opportunity to test this, but I was able to try other types of waves. I found it blocks my phone's 5G signal but not WiFi. For some reason when I use the radio the bag blocks FM but not AM. If I had to guess, I'd say this bag might work against a weaker EMP, but I wouldn't trust it against a "big one". Although these bags can be a nice extra layer if you put them in an actual Faraday cage or box. In summary, do more research before you buy.
