I have long, exceptionally straight hair that is quite thick. I've almost given up curling my hair as it doesn't hold a curl very long. I don't always have time to curl my hair well, but I love what this curling kit is doing for my hair. I need more practice to get good with this curling kit but there are a few things I really like about it as well as a few things that could be improved. One thing I have to stress is that you really do need to use the glove that comes with it so you don't burn your hand. This curler gets very hot and could seriously burn you in less than a second. What I love about this curler: 1 - There are 5 curl heads to choose from to create different size curls. 2- My hair looks and feels much smoother after using this curling iron and split ends seem to go away. 3 - It heats up quickly and you have 3 heat settings to choose from. 4 - A glove is included to protect hands from heat. 5 - The ceramic coating on curling irons is less likely to burn your hair. 6 - Curls last much longer than other curling methods I've used. Things that could be improved. 1 - The instructions are quite basic, but without the instructions, using the curler would be a breeze. 2 - Photos of the curls obtained with each nozzle are on the back of the box but are not included in the instructions. Eventually you will find favorites in the tools, but it would be nice not to have a box for curl options. 3 - It would be very helpful if a storage bag for the curling heads and power adapter was included. Tips can be damaged or scratched when stored in the box. In addition, a storage bag allows you to store everything together. I lowered the rating to 4 only because of the options that could be improved. Aside from those things, I like curlers for those moments when I have time to curl my hair well.
