Bought for the summer to wear with thin socks. They are very light and cool. Whether they get wet or not is a plus. Good fishing shoes will do. The soles are very grippy. The fit is wider with a nice wide toe box. Unexpected but I feel great. The insoles are a bit flat like the Salomon water shoes I've had, so I wouldn't walk miles in them all day. Bought Marine 10.5. I wasn't crazy about white shoelaces, they were too much. I replaced them with dark blue 54" oval shoelaces. Now they look correct. I'm glad I bought these great summer shoes for less than the $50 I paid.
