I'm a musician, drummer and studio owner. I bought these to listen to occasionally, but they turned out to be better than I expected. They sit well in the ears, with large tips, small tips are also included. A medium size would be nice, but you can't have everything. Average size might be perfect. toned down, the bass is reduced, but that's to be expected. I like being able to adjust them to the sound I want by tightening or loosening them in my ears. They isolate A LOT of external noise, I use them when playing drums to the music. The drums DO NOT drown out the headphones, amazing, making them a bargain at this price point. The only downside is that you may hear noise from the cable when cleaning cables or moving it around. I've never noticed this before with ANY other headphones or headphones. So I wouldn't recommend them for runners or wearing them for a lot of physical activity. I highly recommend it!
