I never write reviews but this case irritates me so much I just can't stop writing it. The screen cover only fully closes when the phone is completely flat. If the phone is even slightly tilted or in a vertical position, the cover won't close, and who knows how it will end up. This means that the lid of my purse often opens and things can get between the case and the phone. What good is a lid if it doesn't close. They got rid of the kickstand, which was honestly one of the best parts of the old case. I just added a latch to the back of the case that works like a kickstand, but now you can't lean the lid against the back of the case. Both the front and back of the case are slippery. The case I had for the S8 had a matte leather back and I felt like if I put it on something it wouldn't slip off. Now I always worry about my phone slipping and falling. Sure, it's great that you can use some of the phone's features with the lid closed, but since the lid only closes when the phone is flat and so flexible, could you just use the front of the phone? To be honest I'm not sure why I still have this case on my phone. I probably won't be much longer.
