the engine is in very good condition, but my cylinder head gasket burst and on the run 250 thousand. decided to restore it. I bought this honing tool hoping it would do the job it was designed to do. In the beginning it worked great. I used a lot of oil and used it lightly. I cleaned the cylinder then sprayed the dirt off the stones and re-oiled everything to make sure it was saturated. Then, after several passes, I suddenly heard a high-pitched squeak, so I immediately pulled out the tool and checked the cylinder, everything is fine. When I checked the stones, two of them were chipped and cracked. I don't use it anymore. I'm returning it and buying elsewhere. Avoid a potential disaster. I've been lucky.
