I have two 25kg Siberian cats who love these loungers. We bought one of these in May 2014 and they fought for it. We bought a second one in June 2014 and joined them into a wider cabin and they loved it. Now they can lie on it together and sleep separately "stretched out" on it (see picture). It's indeed a bit pricey for a cardboard lounge chair, but for the amount of use we're getting from it, it's worth it. We've had them for over a year now and our two big cats use them daily and they still look pretty good. The edges are a little rough from wear but nothing to hide when guests arrive. In terms of cleaning, they attract quite a bit of hair (again, we have long-haired Siberians). My secret is to use our Safari Slicker Brush and just "comb" your hair with it. It's quicker than using Dyson to remove all hair. I do this about once a week and it works great. Note: when pushed together they *NOT* line up perfectly - there is a small gap (see picture) but the cats don't mind!
