Pros - big buttons for blind and partially sighted people, simple design and user guide, simple old handset installation that many people need (parent is in a nursing home and CANNOT use cell phone no matter what we tried), can the volume can be increased although only 2 settings are allowed. I was able to use a wireless service from a cell phone company that allows you to connect to a regular old phone, no wiring, just a small receiver/transmitter box with a phone cord input. Cons - The phone base isn't heavy to stay in place. old frail hands will remove it (had to put a heavier mount on), the mute button is pressed lightly by old hands (it's on the handset, right where you put your hands lightly) it should have been on the phone instead the base on the keyboard and had to buy a longer cable, which often happens. And I wish the button base was bigger. Make it look like a rectangle with all the basic features. Stability is important for the elderly and people with disabilities. Trust me it was hard to find a phone this basic and I'm glad we found it. AT LAST!
