I bought these for my young son but they were too long so he found them uncomfortable. I decided to keep her to myself. I wear a size 9.5 women's shoes and find this to be the perfect crew sock size. I don't think they work well on a man who wears more than an 8 or 9 shoe. They just don't seem big enough, but I could be wrong. These socks have just the right amount of cushioning and are great. to relax. The pinky is longer than I would like, but they are supposed to fit both male and female legs. I like to wear them with mules because being able to move my toes freely helps my feet stay in my shoes without mules when walking. I also love color combinations.
