I'm an adult with a small head. I wear Patagonia baby hats, I'm 5'6" and 150 lbs. I bought this hat for children aged 6 to 9 and it fits me well and I have enough space. I think it would be too big for most 6 year olds but could fit an older child. The hat is cute and practical for everyday wear. I was hoping to wear it for a run, but the denim headband can get uncomfortable and doesn't absorb much sweat. Personally, I don't like that the emoji is blurry and the circle around it is gold, but this hat is made for kids, so I get it. I'll keep looking for a simpler version, but that's good for now. Overall this hat makes me smile and that was the reason for the purchase.
