ZAP! ! ! phew! ! ! !
After a devastating lightning strike in 2003 that destroyed many electrical and electronic equipment, I now "protect" all my expensive electronic equipment with a "surge protector" to save myself the heartache and expense of replacing it spare, which my mother owes again because of strikes of nature. My only complaint is that the anchor slots on the back allow for NOTHING except a head of nail to secure it. WHY?
