Review on Panasonic DMR-E30S DVD Recorder with Progressive Scan by Nick Walker

I like this recorder! I never knew how convenient life could be if I recorded some of my favorite shows on DVD-RAM and watched them in the order and the way I liked. This is especially handy for those who love cooking shows. Overall, this is the best system I've found, but I've had trouble finding compatible DVD-R media. The benefit of using DVD-R over DVD-RAM is that you can "finalize" DVD-R discs and use them on any DVD player that supports the DVD-R format, including computers and some older players. I used 4 types of DVDs. R media with 3 options that are not compatible with this recorder. I've found that TDK branded media works every time and works great on all other DVD players I've tested the finalized disc with. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone who owns a TiVo or other DVR and wants this type of playback functionality while also saving space on your DVR for more recording.
