I was between small and medium for sizing, so I went medium in the trees pattern. They are big in the hips, but the drawstring helps, and they're not too long. There is a tag that notes the possible shrinkage of 5%, which I think will help. Overall they are very comfy and fit me reasonably well for PJs (5'4 130lb).
