Review on GRIDMANN Pro Silicone Baking Mat by Nagasree Monee

I don't usually write reviews. I tried to contact the company directly about a week ago but didn't get a response, so I feel compelled to provide an update here so as not to disturb others. I've used silicone baking mats from a variety of brands over the years and have never had a problem. When we first used one of these mats last week, we noticed a strong chemical/perfume odor from toasting a tray of almonds at low temperature, but were unable to pinpoint the source. It wasn't until a family member and I tried some almonds that we realized that the nuts had an odd taste and that we had an odd sensation in our mouth that lasted for a long time, resembling an allergic reaction. . Checked the carpet and confirmed the strong odor was indeed the source of the odor. Another unused rug in the set also had a slight odor. Maybe it was just a bad batch, but something is definitely wrong. I threw away the batch of almonds and both mats. I hope the company and/or sellers see and study this review.
