I am very glad that I am a techie and study before I get in and buy. There have been so many external drives that said they were Mac compatible, and maybe they are. But the Mac gods have this little guy at the top of their list of favorites. Could you get a terabyte? Yes. But hearing the forces being well maintained as always was really just plug and play. It was so easy. I highly recommend this if you need more space. The only problem I had was finding that I had to buy USB to USB-C adapters. Cheap and easy. Just a word to the wise, go ahead and order a few of these little buggers at a time if you have an older model, but the expectation of adding that much space to your machine is going to drive you nuts while you wait an extra day or too much for adapters.
