Review on 🚪 Llumar Clear Generic Door Sill Film: Premium 10 Mil Protection (3 inches x 66 inches) by Marlo Schlachter

This was my first experience installing a paint protector. I installed this film on a 2019 Dodge Challenger rocker panel. The 3" width was perfect, and cutting the length of the film in half resulted in two 33" pieces that worked well for this car as well. After cutting, I rounded the corners with scissors. The instructions do not mention how to properly clean the installation site. I know from previous experience installing vinyl strips on cars that isopropyl alcohol is good at removing wax or residue, so I used that. I found the slip mixture (1 teaspoon dish soap to 32 ounces water) very soapy, so I used 1/2 teaspoon Dawn to 32 ounces. water and it worked fine. Positioning and scraping couldn't be simpler. I gently extruded from the center to the edges and didn't get any air bubbles. The foil is very flexible and does not resist twisting. After installation, the film is not visible on my white car.
