I bought this unit when I was looking for a way to capture photos and videos overhead. Sure I could have bought an expensive heavy overhead bar but it was out of my budget so I bought this one to see if it would work. May I ask if it worked? Well it depends on your expectations. My expectation was to hang a Canon SL2 over a table with a 10-18mm lens totaling about 25 ounces. It works up to a height of about 4-5 feet (as long as one of the three legs is pointing in the same direction as the arrow, otherwise it will definitely fall without a counterweight) and as far as you can see from the photo in this review. For anything over 4-5 feet you will need to weigh down the rear legs to offset the outboard weight. Note: You will see in the photos that I used this adapter that I bought from Revain to connect my camera: Camcorder/Digital Recorder Adapter CM01 Pros: Good build quality for the price It met my expectations as described above Simple to transport and store. Cons: Not a heavy, stable arrow, but you get what you pay for. Works in my situation, but not for anything heavier.
