I purchased two sets of chains after a jet ski trailer jumped off my hitch and crashed into the bed of my truck. I used to have old rusty chains on my trailer and thank goodness they held up. But if it had happened again, who knows if they would have survived! So I decided to buy new chains. I bought two sets just to be too careful. They are very heavy. I'm not afraid they won't survive. I like the clasp on the ends and also that clip in the clutch. It appears to be very well made. I hope I never have to learn firsthand! :)
