Review on 🔪 Shapton Glass Stone 2000 HR: Achieve Flawless Sharpness with Precision by Nicholas Lim

Received this as a quick replacement for my soaking stones for more frequent daily fine sharpening. I love the ceramic stone and the elegant glass back. It's fast, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing. I use an adjustable rubber mount stone holder so I only have to hold one stone mount compared to the exact size blocks. Reason for 4 stars is the same as other reviews. Despite Revain's exemplary efforts to safely package and transport the stone, the crate itself holds the stone precisely with no washer or buffer. Like other reviewers, my stone had a corner chipped off. Given Revain's concerns about packaging/shipping, I believe the damage occurred prior to shipment. The broken corner is not on the usable surface of the stone and therefore does not affect the performance of the product. I wasn't so concerned as to request a replacement for an aesthetic defect without guaranteeing that the replacement would not be similarly damaged. Considering the cost, I expected the seller to do a better job with the box. I will continue to purchase more of these stones in different grits as I continue to grow my collection.
