This is my third kitchen scale. I'm of European descent and don't use cups, tablespoons etc because they aren't accurate at all depending on how you fill the spoons. For comparison: This scale is accurate to within 10 grams (0.1 g). My first scale lasted a long time. I got it from Ikea and it works fine except it turns off too quickly which caused me problems on several occasions when I was weighing my products too slowly. The second one was given to me by Revain to review (like this one) but it ate up my batteries so I just got rid of it. And now this one has arrived. Here's what I like about it: - It's very easy to use: a long press on the right button to turn it on or off. A quick press of the same button to reset the scale to 0 (very handy for taring with container weight). Use the left button to change the formats: oz, lb, g, ml. - This scale ranges from 0.1g to 5kg (5000g) 3 AAA batteries. (I use rechargeable ones with no problems). A cable was also included to charge the scale's batteries directly via USB. I haven't found any cons yet. Conclusion: I can highly recommend. 5 Stars.
