OK for the price but some issues

Pros: Easy to combine and works well as a touchpad on several different PCs/laptops including Linux. It's nice and light so you'll hardly notice it even in a light backpack. Gestures work quite well. I don't think you can change the two-finger scrolling direction, so you'll have to live with pressing your fingers up the bar while scrolling down the page. The range is decent up to 10 feet or more, so it can be used for watching videos, for example. The price is attractive compared to most other options. OK: I had to put a thin grippy stick on the bottom of the legs to keep it from slipping. Keyboard mode is pretty finicky, but it works. It's not as fast as typing on a smartphone's onscreen keyboard. That would do for something like a smart TV or streaming box. Cons: It goes to sleep fairly quickly and you have to press the touchpad/keyboard button to wake it up again. I assume it's for battery life, but it's annoying. It's very light and the bottom is made of oddly shaped hard plastic so only four corners touch the surface. Slippery on smooth surfaces. This is made worse by the fact that the top surface, although glossy, has significant friction. Cleaning with alcohol has helped some. The supplied "screen protector" slips off more easily than the shiny plastic underneath. The left and right buttons are located close together under the center of the pad and are awkward to use. The listing suggests a removable battery, but I don't see a way to just open it up to gain access to the battery. Unknown: battery life? I haven't done a full cycle with the battery yet. I don't know how long it will take either. Appears to be cheaply made.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • For old
