Not durable good for mattress pads
I thought I had found a more comfortable waterproof pillow but over time I found that it wasn't durable. I had a wet bed and a hole in my pillow. It requires more care when washing, which I don't like. I would hang mine out to dry, which was inconvenient, especially if the person doesn't have or need a clothesline right now. This is a softer pad and if shorter lifespan isn't an issue, you might want to give it a try.
