I don't like the smell of roses. I didn't mind the smell of the product. If it was hyacinth, lilac or any other scent I would love it. But I'm sure others might. So the repulsive smell wasn't a problem. I had a quarter sized allergic reaction on the side of my face near my right eye. I was very worried that I would have to go to the doctor for medicine. I took Allegra straight away and it helped. I also smeared the toner on my left forearm to see if I had any facial irritation, which I didn't realize until the scented toner was applied to my face. No, my entire left forearm turned RED! This is NOT what the toner is supposed to do. I have never had a reaction to a face product. I wanted to give him every chance. but two separate reactions said I was done. THE BOTTLE IS AMAZING. But that's not why I bought the toner.
