Looks great and works!

I finally found a line filter that fits my needs. As a designer, I'm always looking for ways to hide cables and still be functional. For this project this is the best extension I could find that would allow me to rotate the outlet to hide the ugly plugs/wires behind the dresser. while other sockets remain available for everyday use. I chose black for the dark board wall and attached it with wood screws. It's very good looking, durable and now offers much needed functionality in a space where there was only one outlet. The 8ft cord is perfect for me to have an outlet on the other side of the dresser opposite the outlet. The only feature I would like is a rotating fork for the wall. For me that would be nice because I have a Snappower USB front panel on my horizontally mounted outlet and that plug needs to be plugged into the top outlet covering the bottom one. Since I need to use both outlets, I ended up using a 1 foot extension cord with an angled spade plug to make room for the second plug. I've included photos so you can see what the hell I'm talking about. But that won't be a problem for most.

Pros
  • line filter
Cons
  • fragile
