These are well made and very nice shoes. The height is perfect and the shoe doesn't transfer your weight forward to the ball of your foot. I wear a hard 7 and regular or wide depending on the shoe. But I also have very narrow heels and high arches, so finding shoes that fit my duck feet can be difficult. This is where the strap comes in, preventing the heels from sliding up and down. Thanks to other reviews I went for a larger width and they are still a little tight although the heel fits. Therefore, these shoes are a bit small in width and length. I wear them in short puffs to stretch them out a bit. I think I should have gone half a size up but it's too late to exchange.
