It's like riding a carpet.

I bought this because I have spots at the motel where I quickly switch from carpet to tile. I have powerful high pressure equipment but like everyone else I was concerned about losing too much suction power as a trade off but I didn't find much of a loss if any. I have yet to seal the edges, which is a good idea. And I don't often give the best rating. It helps me be versatile, and this little piece of plastic more than deserves its care. Not to mention my back feels so much better. And that's important when you're over 60.
