I have an ashtray of the same model in my second car and consider it a worthy product. It holds the smoke when I put my cigarettes out so that part works well. I had about 6 months without light, which is normal for the money. I never cleaned the old one and found the lid to be quite difficult to open and required some effort. I was afraid it might break, so I always emptied it while the device was fully functional instead of removing the lid. After 6 months it smelled pretty bad so I replaced it. I'll try cleaning this one and see how long it lasts. I recommend it because of the cost.
