My device arrived early. I think releasing only peak performance and not RMS does us customers a disservice. I am replacing an amplifier in my home theater that has started to shut down (protection circuits have tripped). Considering the price, it was very easy for me to try this device. My studio would certainly be more comfortable than my living room, but that's enough for now. It's not as loud as the Denon it replaces, but loud enough (I just have to turn up the volume on the preamp). So far the sound has been powerful and pleasant. It was easy to set up but don't expect it to match your furniture. It's large (19" deep) and the slatted ears are non-removable. If I someday buy a Marantz amp for my HT, this amp will likely replace the crown in my professional setup.
