Perfect Size - Small Animals
Bought an 8.5" hamster wheel to replace a 6.5" Kaytee. This wheel design differs slightly from the Kaytee. There were small open slots where the outer ring rested against the main body of the wheel. I was concerned about possible injury to dwarf hamsters. All open cracks filled with non-toxic hot glue and sanded the imperfections. He actually wanted to change the wheels, but since he used his Kaytee so often, he decided to increase the cage area with an additional garbage cage. (He still has a low bed sleeper basket.) Now he walks on both and paces back and forth all night. Bonus Activity!
