I love diamond painting and bought this for a friend who loves to decorate the beach but has a darker color scheme (not the typical light blue and brown). All in all this is a great set. The canvas was thick and the glue was tacky enough to hold the beads, although I had a corner where the plastic folded in transit and the glue wasn't tacky. The wet wipe "renewed" the glue, but the beads weren't fully fixed, so I had to glue the corner. This is not the norm and probably the biggest problem with the packaging. This kit includes everything you need to get started: base shells, pens (whatever you use to apply drill bits or plastic), and pink wax. This kit was that the drills came in resealable plastic bags. So I didn't have to repack my drills, which was time-consuming, and I could start work immediately. BIG Plus! The symbols were clear and easy to read, although I use a light panel to get a better view. I liked that they had round circles to help with perfect placement so you don't need a ruler. One thing I don't like is that the image is square (think Tetris) so it ends up looking a bit choppy or blocky. Images that are actually photographs look better when they're finished. The drills had a nice shape overall. There were some irregular shapes, but not so many that I couldn't finish the image. This one had 30 different colors, which is good for the size of the painting. I recommend!
