Review on Incase Hardshell Case For MacBook Air 13&#34 Laptop Accessories and Bags, Cases & Sleeves by Brandon Micali

A great slim case for your Macbook Pro

Let's start with the bad: This is NOT the simplest Macbook Pro case. Now that we've got that out of the way, let me explain a little why this seems like a good thing overall. The case itself feels very slick and doesn't pick up fingerprints, which is a big plus considering other cases I've used in the past have fingerprint magnets. I couldn't even carry the laptop around without seeing a smudge in the shape of my palm on it afterwards, and that's probably because cheap film was used to give these cases a matte finish. That's not the case here, giving you a much smoother chassis and less hassle of wiping. The case is thin. Very thin. If you're trying to make your laptop a reservoir of sorts that can withstand repeated drops, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a case that protects your investment from scratches and bumps in every corner, this is a great option. It took me 2 attempts to open the case. At first I thought I could just snap the case into place and as long as all the hooks are attached to the laptop frame everything should be fine. I was wrong. Be sure to read the instructions and put it on in the order listed on the back (ESPECIALLY a little about whether it's plugged into the heat vent on the back of the laptop, which the case instructions specifically emphasize). If you don't, you'll end up knocking the bottom of the case off every time you lift your laptop screen and you'll think this great case just doesn't fit when it definitely does. Overall, this sleeve keeps your laptop's profile very similar to the feel of your Macbook Pro without the sleeve, while still offering marginal protection for undeniably expensive hardware. Definitely what I would recommend!
