Works great with the right scanner
Works partially with my 1996 BMW E36 328i. So I find the adapter ok. However, you will need a scanner that can read all of the specific codes for your model. My Autopix 7810 scanner reads codes for BMW models 1998 and up. but I was able to read some codes with models like E46 and E39. Even I was able to reset airbag errors.
