These walkie talkies are great when they work but they drain the batteries faster than any product I have ever used. Fresh batteries last about 1 week in all the phones we use. Of course, the flashlight drains the battery faster, but we try not to use it too often. So if the batteries lasted longer they would be ideal, but changing batteries frequently has greatly increased the cost of using these walkie talkies. I would probably choose a different set if I made my choice again.
