Review on ๐Ÿฑ Rubbermaid Leak-Proof Brilliance Food Storage Containers with Lids - 12-Piece Set, Bento Box Style for Sandwiches and Salads - Clear by Joshua Johnson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I have used Tupperware for many years. Especially for microwave/freezer.

I have been using Tupperware for many years. In particular, microwave/freezer containers with a swing lid. The problem with Tupperware is that lids don't always fit containers of the same type made in a different year. Finding the right lid has always been a challenge. For the Brilliance line, all caps fit (hope this all makes sense). I've added pasta sauce liquids to my Brilliance container and haven't had any leaks or stains. I warmed them up in the microwave and cooled them down. I haven't put them in the freezer yet (it wasn't necessary). After trying a Brilliance container, I donated all of my dishes to Tupperware. No problem putting on or sealing the lids. Empty containers are stacked. I have washed them in the dishwasher with no problems with the seals. I've been using it for about three months now. I bought different sets from BJ when they were on sale. I saw a review where a woman said she stuck her thumb through the lid and cut her finger trying to close it. First, it's plastic. There is something, but with enough strength you can break it. Second, you have to press on the edge of the lid to close it, not the center. There is nothing wrong with the design of these containers. The bonus is you can see what's inside. Not so much with dark Tupperware containers.

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Annoying
