Review on πŸ”΅ Sewline Riolis Sewline Water-Soluble Fabric Glue Pen: Refillable and in Blue by Barbara Simmons

Don't waste money!

I've always used Elmer School glue to attach my hand-sewn appliques. They cost a dollar at the dollar store and are significantly cheaper than school supplies on sale. When I saw these "pens" on one of the TV shows I thought wow what a great idea. I can be more precise with glue. And yes. . it is more accurate. But here's the thing: IT DOES NOT STICK. Period. As soon as the glue dries, everything falls off. I spent most of the day pasting applique onto a project I'm working on (forty-eight blocks!) and the next morning it literally fell off. I really can't think of anything that this inferior adhesive could work on. Someone should be ashamed of selling their sewers.

Pros
  • Tape, Adhesives, and Fasteners
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Takes me 1/4 the time to assemble pieces over fusable webbing.
