I've never used this and decided to give it a try. One of the kids slammed the door too hard and made a nice little hole in Grandma's house. So I used that for her 50 year old faded pine and it was an almost perfect fit. Of course I haven't ironed it out much, but I'm living and learning. This material has an ideal consistency, so it does not flow and is not very thick. The drying time is maybe half a day. as i have used it for other wooden items and also to cover white silicone that has drained too far under the new sink. used black to match the black countertop. Now that thin white line is gone and my eyes don't hurt anymore. This is the best repair material I have ever used to repair dents, dents and scratches. I bought another set to have on hand, I was so impressed with the results!
