I mainly use this juicer to cook for my birds. I love citrus fruits and carrots and this product goes great with both. It has three notable features: 1) It has a plastic lid that fits securely to protect the paring blades. 2) It has a plastic base that covers the bottom of the zester so the rind is stored in the base until you eat it. ready for it 3) It has a rubber "spade" on a plastic base that scrapes the peel off the blades and into the base when you remove them. These three features are really great for removing the peel effortlessly. Since I use this device regularly, these features are pretty good. I also have to say that the chopper itself is pretty efficient and the sharp blades add a nice flavor.
