This was my first pair that was center mounted on my glasses. The pads on the clips don't appear, they scratch the lens, but the rubber tips leave a stain that can be wiped off. The presence of nozzles in the center is a bit annoying. My previous clips were side mounted so they weren't distracting, but I didn't like the four prongs that made contact with the lens as they felt sharper than the rubber grips on this new pair. The distractions aren't too noticeable when looking straight ahead, but the clips in the middle can be seen when looking away. They don't block the view, just distract. I'll probably leave it on for a while and see if there are any stubborn marks on the lens where the rubber tips meet. After much deliberation I am returning the product and am looking for something else.
