Review on 🪑 Graco SnugLock Grow 3-in-1 Harness Booster Seat, Forward Facing, Franco by Tracy Anderson

I needed another car seat for my oldest daughter who will soon outgrow car seats too so we got this Graco for the booster seat that works, if we need to renovate it. My family has been using Chicco car seats for 7 years and love the quality so this Graco compares to our experience with Chicco. The Graco car seat looks good with plenty of padding and is much lighter than our Chicco car seats, which comes in handy when you need to move the car seat. However, I think the lightness was a compromise with the construction of the car seat. Compared to our Chicco, the straps on the back of this Graco are open which can make access easier, but I feel like the straps dangle and stay open and probably lose the extra layer of protection on the back. Also, they don't have a compartment to keep an owner's manual, just a place to put a booklet, which isn't very secure. And you should keep the booklet if you need to convert the car seat, as it can be difficult to figure out how to convert the car seat to booster mode, which involves opening/unlocking the upholstery and then unlocking some of the latches around the to remove the back seat. . The size is Chicco MyFit size. The padding is good but feels lighter than the Chicco. If you don't have car seat latch slots, the car seat has a great additional latching mechanism for the car's shoulder strap to lock it further compared to the hooks on the Chicco for security. And when you adjust the headrest, the side padding loosens up a bit, which is great for giving your growing kids extra space. In terms of comfort, it's good, but not as good as the Chicco. My daughter still prefers Chicco. She says Chicco is more comfortable. But I mainly use this Graco to get to and from school so it will only be for short trips. Overall this is a good chair with great options for your growing kids where the price seems to reflect those options. But for the price I would prefer Chicco.
