Review on Dixie SXP10PATH Pathways Weight Diameter by Kevin Woods

I received an unopened box of cymbals with the label on the box. The title says it all. None of the content was in new, real condition. All four sets of plates in the box were only partially covered, each cellophane wrapper was torn about halfway down the stack of plates, and each had black scratch marks on the bottom plate. Scratches are not wiped away even with a Clorox cloth. There should be no way for an item in a box to take this form unless 4 sets of panels are removed from the box, the outer coating is torn and placed on a surface likely to leave black marks. I marked the price with a star because even if it was the best plate in the world, it would probably be better to throw it away for safety reasons. If anyone is sensitive to an open product I would not recommend purchasing these panels. I'm in my 70's and I know I can't get over the psychology of obvious risk.
