I bought these in hopes of being able to modify them for my exhaust. I use them on a 2019 KTM 300XC with an Enduro Engineering spark arrestor. The spark arrester screen is very close to the exhaust tip, so shortening the spark plug was the only way it fit. After adapting it to my setup, it creates a completely watertight seal. I found the fork flexible enough to be pushed beyond what is needed. I have a feeling that the plug's material will eventually deteriorate and break if pushed through what is necessary, making it no longer waterproof. Not a big problem as the Enduro Engineering caps are easy to remove and I have a spare.
