I was hoping to wear this top under my skinny turtleneck sweaters, but it's thick enough that I can only wear it under cardigans and oversized sweaters. This is normal - and what I expected when I ordered it. Like most people these days, I sit at home all day and need warm and comfortable clothes. This is an attractive casual wear. I can wear it alone or under a cardigan and I look very presentable on Zoom. It fits me loosely and comfortably, but it doesn't look like I'm wearing pajamas. Cotton thermal fabric helps against the cold in my rooms. It's not as warm as fleece or wool, but works great when layered together. I love burgundy and I have black too. I washed it once in cold water and line dried it - it appears to be in the same condition as I received it.
