I bought these because I heard great reviews from people trying to reduce the amount of waste they produce. For that reason, apart from the plastic that seals the product, they are a great product. They taste and feel a bit like chalk, but I agree. This is not for people who prefer regular tube toothpaste. When it comes to reducing waste, sometimes you have to compromise on texture or quality. I personally agree as the product does what it is supposed to do while creating a little less waste. If you're making the switch from traditional toothpaste, there's a little learning to do. I've learned that the best way to get a good lather is to not have extra water or saliva in your mouth when you first chew them. I plan to reorder another flavor. The fin is very tasty, but I want to try other flavors.
