I didn't want to spend a fortune on a Dyson fan so I was hoping this fan would be a close enough version. Has 3 speeds; The low speed is quiet but useless because you don't feel it, so you have to set it to medium or high. Pretty loud on high. I was hoping that since it's so big it would actually release some air, but I get about the same from my old oscillating fan. This fan is about 4 feet tall and you get about 12 inches of area where the air exits. There is no way to adjust the height. So if you don't like where the air blows from, you're out of luck. It also doesn't wobble much in either direction. The sleep feature was odd in that the fan kept turning on and off. Didn't like it either. Save money and try another fan. Update: After giving the fan to my husband, he discovered another big mistake; When he controls the TV volume with the remote control, he also turns off the fan. I saw on the net that others have the same problem. This fan will be returned to Revane.
