Review on Heavy Duty Replacement Office Chair Furniture by Chris Cranor

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Got upgraded roller wheels and a plastic base?

Then you need this base. Like pretty much everyone here, I bought "upgraded" roller-skate style wheels for my office chair. I was moving to a new location and didn't want the standard casters to damage the floor. But the plastic base of my braced chair soon began to flex and twist until I started to move and landed on the floor. One of the post holes burst, the wheel fell out and I fell. I was so angry that my new wheels didn't work and now my chair was broken. I'm 6ft 2in and 250lbs so I don't think I'm overloading the base. I started looking at new chairs with metal bases and just couldn't imagine spending $300 on a new chair. Then I started looking for metal. office chair base and stumbled on this one. Little did I know just replacing the base was a thing and the price was a lot easier to swallow. Minutes to take it off but it broke loose. I then attached the wheels to the new base and placed the base on the chair. . Nothing bends or twists, everything is exactly how I wanted it. Now I'm pretty sure the wheels and base will outlive this chair and I'm fine with that. If I get a new chair, I will use it again. base and wheels.
