I purchased this light to showcase a tall statue in my home. Initially I was satisfied with the light. It took a while to stop it from changing colors. I followed the instructions and it still continued changing. I had to turn it off, remove the batteries, and reinstall them to get it to stop. For the record, it did the same thing when plugged in. I positioned it on the wall and used one of the adhesive pads that come with it. I love it! Until I heard it crash to the floor in the middle of the night. Not only did the adhesive give way, but the unit cracked. I'll be returning this right away. It was a nice look until it self destructed.
