Doesn't use battery as asked by review. Straight usb power. This thing is tiny, but mighty. Even on low it moves a ton of air. Biggest issue is the noise and the higher of the 3 settings that you use, the louder it gets. Not noise busting by any means, but it is a bit unnerving.
