These are very beautiful lamps. I found it difficult but doable to attach the shade fabric to two hoops. But this required so much force that I accidentally made a small indentation in the shades of each lamp. Disappointing. Fabric on the outside, hard plastic on the inside, Velcro on the hem. This is how the hard plastic gets dented. I recently received a floor lamp of a similar design that had metal tabs attached to the fabric of the lampshade instead of the snap connectors in this set. This made the assembly of the screen easier than with this kit. Instructions are included with this kit, but they do not cover assembling the lampshade at all. If you decide to order them, all I'm saying is be very careful when assembling the shades. I can try smoothing out the dents with an iron (with a cloth between the iron and the hardening plastic). For this reason, I cannot recommend this set, especially for hand arthrosis. Too bad, because they are good lamps when assembled correctly. You may decide to order it because you have been warned. I repeat, there are assembly instructions on the product sheet, but they do not concern the assembly of the lampshade at all. I'll update this review when my iron irons out the dents (without making them worse).
